DC4 Lite Power Supply

Due to popular demand, we are now delighted to offer our DC4 architecture in a more conveniently-sized case at a competitive price point!

This is a simplified version of our DC4 PSU - we still use the same DC4 RECAP modules as the full-spec DC4, but we use a smaller transformer to fit within the limitations of the compact casework and we also have to remove some of the vibration-damping features. We fit a pair of our DC3 regulator modules, offering amazing performance with the DC4 RECAP modules. We still keep the gold-plated Furutech IEC socket with separate DC4 power switch, grounding post and Neotech OCC internal DC wiring (with the same option to upgrade to Mundorf silver-gold wire if desired) and DC4-spec umbilical cable. Essentially you are getting a hybrid DC3-DC4 level of electronics inside a DC3 case, at a lower price than the full DC4.

We do offer upgrades of the DC wiring - the standard wire is 18AWG Neotech OCC wire, you can also have Mundorf's excellent silver-gold hybrid wire fitted in either 18AWG or 15AWG sizes. The 15AWG option allows for a lower supply impedance. We can make the umbilical cables to any desired length, we do suggest a shorter cable is better for performance.

Due to the custom manufacturing of each mains transformer to suit your bespoke requirements, there is a lead time of typically 4-5 weeks for the transformer plus 1-2 weeks for PSU construction once the transformer arrives. The DC4 Lite case is the same size as the DC3 case, at 290mm long, 230mm wide and 95mm high (including feet). Note that the DC4 Lite has two DC outputs as standard - it is not possible to add extra outputs to this PSU.
