ORDERING

Please email us at custom.hifi.cables@gmail.com and we will be delighted to take your order or answer any queries you might have. If you prefer to speak to a real person, you are welcome to phone us (just email with your phone number and we will get back to you ASAP) - our phone number is not listed here to avoid us receiving unwanted marketing calls.

PAYMENT METHODS

We accept many forms of payment: bank transfer (either UK or international) is our preferred method as it is fast and secure and does not attract any additional fees. For international clients, we use "Wise", a currency transfer company that offer significantly lower fees and better exchange rates than Paypal or banks offer.

Paypal is discouraged due to the high fees that they charge everyone - we can accept Paypal payments if that is the only option for you, but you will need to pay extra to cover their fees, depending on your location this could be between 3% and 5%. A "friends and family" payment has no fees associated with it, this is the best option with Paypal but because Paypal deliberately attempt to hide this option from clients (and it is not even available in some areas) then you need to be sure of what you're doing, otherwise you'll have to send a second payment to cover the Paypal fees.

For clients that wish to drop off/collect products in person, we can easily arrange an appointment to suit you.


SHIPPING

Shipping costs will vary a lot depending on the size and weight of parcel, the country it is being sent to and the value of the parcel. In some cases we will offer reduced price or free shipping, for example if you are buying several items at once.

WITHIN UK

Smaller orders are sent First Class within the UK (usually recorded, except for very low value

items), and by a tracked and insured courier (UPS or FedEx) for larger orders.

High value items may also be sent by Special Delivery. We can send any item by this method if you

desire, or you can collect in person from our premises in Leeds. Please note that collection in person is

strictly by appointment only.


OUTSIDE UK

We ship worldwide - we send smaller items by Royal Mail's Airmail service, and higher-value items by

a tracked and insured express service, or by an international courier.

Please just email us if you would like a precise shipping quote with no commitment, and we will find the most cost-effective solution for delivery. We don't list shipping prices on the website as there are simply too many possible combinations of weight/destination/value to list.

If you would like to visit us in Bingley, West Yorkshire to collect/drop off equipment in person then you are more than welcome to, but we only accept clients by prior appointment.


INVOICES

We keep electronic copies of every invoice, along with a backup copy off-site. If you would like an electronic copy of your invoice, then just ask and we will email it through.


VAT

We are VAT registered - all of our prices on the website include UK VAT, except where explicitly stated. This means that international clients will be charged an ex-VAT price (UK VAT is 20%). We are not responsible for any import taxes/duties you may be charged by your national customs organisation.
